Nia®

Nia® is a fun, non-impact, high-energy movement form that conditions the body, mind, emotions, and spirit. With moves and music to inspire joy, the choreography draws from a blend of dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts. Our instructors bring their whole heart and playful spirits to each Nia® class. Nia® will make you sweat, make you laugh, and make you feel something. Students leave feelings connected and empowered with a greater sense of mind, body, and spirit.

 

Children’s & Adult Dance Classes

Beginner Ballet
Ballet 1 is for 5-7year olds and will focus on beginner ballet techniques and terminology. We will also put our ballet knowledge in action through creative dance activities and fun games.

Tuesdays 3:30 PM to 4:25 PM

Intermediate Ballet
Intermediate Ballet will focus on mastering the building blocks of ballet and developing on the techniques we already know. Creative movement exercises and fun games will also give us the space to put our work into practice.

Tuesdays 4:30 PM to 5:25 PM

Tiny Dancers
Tiny Dancers is the perfect way to get your 3-4 year olds moving. Through creative movement, ballet, and fun games we will develop balance, agility, spacial awareness, classroom etiquette, timing and rhythm.

Wednesdays 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM

Hip Hop Ninjas 1
Hip Hop Ninjas is designed to get kids moving and having fun while also developing fine motor skills, balance, strength and agility.

Wednesdays 3:30 PM to 4:25 PM

Hip Hop Ninjas 2
Hip Hop Ninjas is designed to get kids moving and having fun while also developing fine motor skills, balance, strength and agility.

Wednesdays 4:30 PM to 5:25 PM

TikTokin' Teens
TikTokin' Teens is here to help your kids stay active and keep current with the newest dance trends. We will also explore jazz and hip to help round out our experience.

Thursdays 4:30 PM to 5:25 PM

Adult Dance
Adult Dance classes with a ballet and hip hop focus are joining the Just Move Fitness x Pleasant Hill School of Dance line-up. This will be a fun way to get your workout in. We will explore a lot of different dance mediums but will focus on hip hop and ballet barre exercises.
