Fall 2022 Children’s Dance Classes NOW ENROLLING

We’re pleased to announce that Pleasant Hill School of Dance will start having classes again for the Fall 2022 season. Below you will find a list of classes and times and descriptions.

Beginner Ballet – Tuesdays 3:30 - 4:25 PM
Ballet 1 is for 5-7 year olds and will focus on beginner ballet techniques and terminology. We will also put our ballet knowledge in action through creative dance activities and fun games.

Intermediate Ballet – Tuesdays 4:30 - 5:25 PM
Intermediate Ballet will focus on mastering the building blocks of ballet and developing on the techniques we already know. Creative movement exercises and fun games will also give us the space to put our work into practice.

Tiny Dancers – Wednesdays 1:00 - 1:45 PM
Tiny Dancers is the perfect way to get your 3-4 year olds moving. Through creative movement, ballet, and fun games we will develop balance, agility, spacial awareness, classroom etiquette, timing and rhythm.

Hip Hop Ninjas 1 – Wednesdays 3:30 - 4:25 PM
Hip Hop Ninjas is designed to get kids moving and having fun while also developing fine motor skills, balance, strength and agility.

Hip Hop Ninjas 2 – Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:25 PM
Hip Hop Ninjas is designed to get kids moving and having fun while also developing fine motor skills, balance, strength and agility.

Advanced Ballet – Thursdays 3:30 - 4:25 PM
Advanced Ballet is for children who have already developed ballet technique and are ready to challenge themselves with new skills. We will also use creative movement and games to put our skills into action.

 

Adult & Teen Dance Classes NOW ENROLLING

We’re pleased to announce that Pleasant Hill School of Dance will also be offering adult and teen dance classes starting September 2022.

TikTokin' Teens – Thursdays 4:30 - 5:25 PM
TikTokin' Teens is here to help your kids stay active and keep current with the newest dance trends. We will also explore jazz and hip to help round out our experience.

Adult Dance – Thursdays 5:30 - 6:25 PM
Adult Dance is our newest class to be offered. This will be a fun way to get your workout in. We will explore a lot of different dance mediums but will focus on hip hop and ballet barre exercises.

IN PERSON NIA® WITH KELLIE IS BACK!

Now that the mask mandate has been lifted, Nia classes return in person, Monday through Friday at 9AM. Monday, Wednesday and Friday classes will still be offered in a hybrid format and the current Zoom login for online class will still be available.

We continue to be a mask friendly environment, so if you are more comfortable wearing one, feel free. Mask wearing will become an optional preference. For many of you who have danced with me, please know how much I’ve missed you. 

For those of you who have never taken a Nia class, I invite you to come give it a try! Nia is accessible for all levels and abilities and it has been movement medicine for me personally throughout the pandemic. Nia offers so much for a healthy body and life.
